They have actually shortened the yellow light just for profit and it angers me that Springfield, MO is one of those cities! When I lived in Phoenix I knew the City of Phoenix was under contract with the company that installed their red light cameras to not lengthen the yellow lights. They also agreed that the installers of the red light cameras wouldn’t charge for the installation in exchange for a cut of the profits 50%. Lengthening the yellow light reduces accidents but who cares about human lives this is about money!

[this was an April Fool's Joke.  I cry foul because it was only 3/31/2008 when I saw it - Dustin] This is really cool. I also saw this on Systm Episode 44 except they started with just Mentos and Mountain Dew.

Here are some pictures that were taken at the body shop that show the damage that the tornado caused to my car. A total cost of about $6600! The folks at body shop drew little circles all over the car where the dents were. While my car is in the shop for the next 3 weeks I have a beautiful 2008 Toyota forerunner as a rental

Hi Everyone!

For those that don’t know it yet, Laura and I went to St Louis last Thursday to visit the corporate offices of YTB for Red Carpet Day (a day when agents and their guests can come and take a look at the company and have lunch courtesy of YTB), and were caught on the road by a tornado. THE MOST SCARIEST THING I HAVE EVER GONE THROUGH IN MY LIFE!! There was nowhere to hide, no ditch or overpass it was horrible. After sitting on the side of the road, I decided I could not just sit there while the car was being pounded with hail, so I followed another SUV and was able to get under an overpass about ½ mile away (could not see it through the hail). My windshield was smashed just as we got under the overpass. Had we not done that, I would not have been able to drive the rest of the way home because it would have shattered under the baseball size hail that was pounding at us. We were so blessed that we got out of that safely. It was a VERY shaky 2 hour drive home!
